MCP-UTM optimistic about ‘technical knockout’ in Malawi presidential re-run   

Nyasa Times (Malawi) reported that the Malawian presidential elections will be re-run in early July 2020, following the annulment of the elections held in May 2019 due to irregularities. 

Former presidential candidate and team disappear in northern Mali       

Leading Malian opposition leader Soumaïla Cissé has gone missing during a visit to the electoral district of Niafunké as part of a legislative campaign. 

At least 10 dead during Guinea referendum  

Africanews (pan-African) reported that at least 10 people were killed in Guinea following clashes between the police and protestors, after a controversial constitutional referendum was held on Sunday.
