COVID-19 in Africa: Stay informed

According to recent data from Johns Hopkins University, there are nearly a million recorded cases of COVID-19 in Africa.
As countries across the continent and around the world continue to implement measures to contain the spread of the virus, the Foundation is providing information and research on the impact of COVID-19 in Africa.
Our regular updates include a selection of relevant media articles (highlighting country specific stories) shared each weekday, and research briefs providing topical analysis on the impact of the pandemic on the continent from a variety of angles such as food insecurity.
Other key insights about the challenges of COVID-19 in Africa include interviews with our Founder and Chair, Mo Ibrahim, and perspectives from our Now Generation Network (NGN) – a cohort of mid-level career African citizens, nationals from 43 African countries and from various sectors and disciplines.
