Mo Ibrahim Foundation joins World Bank Group’s new Philanthropy Hub as a Knowledge Partner

The Mo Ibrahim Foundation is happy to join the World Bank Group’s new Philanthropy Hub as a Knowledge Partner. 

The Philanthropy Hub has been launched on 12 October 2026 in Bangkok, at the very beginning of the IMF/WB Annual Assemblies, held in Bangkok. 

The Philanthropy Hub aims to strengthen collaboration between the World Bank Group and philanthropic organisations, helping identify opportunities to bring together knowledge, resources and partners to support development initiatives at scale. As a Knowledge Partner, the Mo Ibrahim Foundation joins a network of regional, philanthropic, advisory and academic organisations. 

The network is intended to ensure that research and data, as well as practical experience and networks on the ground inform and strengthen development efforts in the countries where the World Bank Group operates.
