2026 Ibrahim Index of African Governance to Launch on 31 October

The 2026 Ibrahim Index of African Governance (IIAG) will be launched on 31 October 2026 at the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
The IIAG is the world's most comprehensive dataset on African governance, providing independent, data-driven analysis of governance performance across all 54 African countries.
The 2026 edition will cover the ten-year period from 2016 to 2025, featuring data across more than 90 indicators that measure governance performance and trends at continental, regional and national levels.
