The Mo Ibrahim Foundation has taken the difficult decision to cancel the 2024 Ibrahim Governance Weekend.
We acknowledge the cooperation we have received from the Governor of Lagos and the Nigerian government.
Insurmountable administrative difficulties have made it impossible to hold our event this April.
Our work around the 2024 Ibrahim Forum theme, Financing Africa, will continue and already underpins the strong agenda we have planned for the year ahead.
We look forward to continuing our work with our many stakeholders, and to celebrating with you all at the 2025 IGW next spring.
