Mo Ibrahim talks about African investment opportunities at GABI

Mo Ibrahim was one of the participants at the Global Africa Business Initiative (GABI), a forum organised by the United Nations Global Compact to spotlight the growth trajectory and business opportunities across all sectors of African economies.

The event took place in New York from 21-22 September, running concurrently with the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Distinguished speakers included Antonio Guterres, the UN Secretary-General; Moussa Faki Mahamat, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission; William Ruto, the President of Kenya; and Bola Tinubu, the President of Nigeria.

Mo participated in 'Unstoppable Africa', a discussion with Brad Smith, Vice Chair and President of Microsoft, on investment opportunities on the continent for entrepreneurs collaborating with the public sector and the diaspora.
