Mo Ibrahim and Ajay Banga, president of the World Bank Group, participated in a one-on-one conversation during the IMF-World Bank meetings in Marrakech, Morocco. The session was titled Africa, the Innovation Engine, and was hosted by the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises.
Mo and Ajay addressed pressing issues facing the African continent and the world, including lack of access to power, the challenge of capital costs, the slow resolution of debt crises, and governance within the World Bank.
