As parliamentary and presidential elections are scheduled next Thursday in Uganda, MIF is deeply concerned by the mounting violence, with many deaths already, numerous human rights violations and unacceptable restrictions imposed on opposition candidates and on the Ugandan citizens who support them.
Here too, democracy is at stake.
