2021 Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships: African Development Bank
18 February, 2021
Applications are now welcomed for the 2021 Ibrahim Leadership Fellowship programme at the African Development Bank (AfDB).
The Ibrahim Leadership Fellowships form a selective programme designed to mentor future African leaders.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 AfDB fellowship was deferred to 2021, so applications have opened earlier this year. The selected candidate will be hosted by the executive office of the AfDB for a 12-month fellowship and will benefit from the direct mentorship of the AfDB President, Akinwumi Adesina.
This Fellowship is open to young professionals, mid-career and new executives from Africa with relevant work experience and a master’s degree. The priority for the 2021 selection is the bank’s five key areas: lighting up and powering Africa; feeding Africa; industrialising Africa; integrating Africa; and improving the quality of life for the people of Africa. The application process closes on 15 March 2021.
The post will be taken up by 15 June.
