Join the 2019 cohort of Ibrahim Leadership Fellows

The application process is now open for the Foundation’s annual Fellowships Programme. This unique initiative offers the next generation of outstanding African leaders opportunities to develop their leadership and managerial skills in the executive offices of the African Development Bank, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and the International Trade Centre.

The Executive Management office of each organisation hosts an Ibrahim Leadership Fellow for a 12-month fellowship supporting senior management with a stipend of $100,000.

The Fellowships are open to African mid-career professionals with relevant work experience and a Master’s degree.

Each institution manages its respective application process.

 

Eligibility criteria

  • National of an African country
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience
  • master’s degree
  • under the age of 40, or 45 for women with children
  • any additional criteria as set by the host.

The closing date for all applicants is 15 October 2018.
