Joan is an Independent Consultant focussing on political economy, economic policy, governance and advocacy in Africa. Joan has over 10 years of experience working on fiscal policy, public finance management, and a wide range of economic policy and development issues in South Africa and on the African continent. During her career, Joan has worked for government, the private sector, and in the multilateral development space.
