Eliam is a seasoned Economist with Public and Private sector background. He has extensively advised Governments on public financial management (PFM) reforms, and economic and financial policy for SOEs.
Eliam's experience spans into project development support for private-sector. As a Mo Ibrahim Leadership Fellow stationed at the UNECA, Eliam worked on digitalisation, COVID-19 Response and Recovery, Climate Change, and the AfCFTA. He is deepening his experience in climate finance with a placement in the Climate Change Department at UNECA.
