Distinguished University Professor and Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science American University in Cairo (AUC)
Ali S. Hadi, Ph.D. is a Distinguished University Professor and former Chair, Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science. He is the founder of the Data Science Program at The American University in Cairo (AUC). He was the Vice Provost and Director of Graduate Studies and Research at AUC.
Dr Hadi previously served as Assistant, Associate, and full Professor, as well as a Department Chair at Cornell University during the years 1984–2000. He was also elected the Editor-in-Chief of the International Statistical Review, the flagship journal of the International Statistical Institute and its seven Associations. Recently, he was elected a Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences.
