Nasi Rwigema

Nasi Rwigema is a Co-President of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation’s Now Generation Network, focussed on building a practical, high-impact network of young African leaders. He is also Head of Product at The Alliance, where he has helped scale a multi-community EdTech platform through product-led growth, AI-powered experiences, and customer obsession.

Previously, Nasi founded Umwuga, a two-sided jobs marketplace that helped low- and un-skilled workers advance their careers. Before moving into tech, he led renewable energy and infrastructure investing across Africa at Metier Private Equity, and earlier served as Managing Director of Solafrica Energy developing utility-scale sustainable power plants across Africa.

Nasi began his career as an aerospace engineer and holds an MBA from London Business School as a Mo Ibrahim Foundation Scholar.
