Robtel Pailey to participate in expert panel on Ebola
Robtel Pailey, 2014 MIF Scholar, will speak at the Africa Research Institute on Beyond Ebola: Economic Development in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone on Thursday, 25 June.
The World Bank estimates that the Ebola epidemic, together with plunging iron ore and bauxite prices will cut the GDP forecast of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone by at least $1.6 billion. The expert panel discussion will aim to identify practical steps that need to be taken to promote inclusive and sustainable economic recovery in of these countries.
