Mo Ibrahim said: “Africa has lost one of its brightest sons and greatest champions.” Hadeel Ibrahim, the Foundation’s Founding Executive Director, added: “Komla was a hugely talented presenter and interviewer. He was widely respected for his professionalism and integrity, and for his passion to tell Africa’s story. Komla will be missed by people across the continent and beyond, including everyone at the Mo Ibrahim Foundation. “Last year, Komla served as the compere for the annual Ibrahim Forum, and we felt very privileged to have him there. He was and will remain a part of the Foundation family. Our thoughts are with Komla’s family and friends at this time.”
