UN calls for Libyan migrant detention centres to be shut
BBC (international) reported that the United Nations have called for the dismantling of all detention centres for refugees in Libya, stating that facilities are not fit to house migrants.

The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia has released a statement indicating that it will hold a referendum on creating a new state for the Sidama ethnic group, following growing calls by regional groups for greater autonomy.
