Tunisia approves law excluding presidential candidate leading in polls

The Parliament of Tunisia has approved an amendment to its electoral law, which will bar businessman Nabil Karoui who is the leading candidate for the Tunisian presidential elections expected later this year, from contesting.

38 killed in attacks on Mali villages

38 people lost their lives in ongoing ethnic-based violence in central Mali. Earlier this month, 35 people from the same ethnic group had died in a separate attack.
