Aya Chebbi is a former Mo Ibrahim Foundation scholar and Founding Chair of Afrika Youth Movement (AYM).
Aya was recently featured on the Guardian Global Development podcast, Small Changes – where she discussed her work as a blogger and pan-African political activist. Having started her activism journey during Tunisia’s revolution in 2010-2011, she has since travelled across the continent training young people in mobilisation and civil resistance.
AYM is a pan-African, action-oriented, youth-led movement that strives for the participation, development and leadership of African youth to transform the continent and achieve their rights to peace, equality and social justice.
