Increase in Laws Protecting Women Against Violence

It’s International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, a call to raise awareness and mobilise people everywhere to bring about change. The IIAG indicator Laws on Violence Against Women has shown an improvement, on average, of +9.5 points over the past decade. Rwanda in particular has shown notable improvement in the past ten years with a score increase of +91.7 points, followed by Mozambique with +75.0 points.
