Charlotte is the Founder and CEO of Dabira, a pioneering organisation dedicated to growing small businesses in Africa’s creative industries. In addition to Dabira, Charlotte is a consultant in the Ghana sub-regional office of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where she oversees business development and strategic client relations.

Following her Fellowship, Charlotte led the development of strategic partnerships with philanthropists and global foundations at the African Development Bank (AfDB). Previously, Charlotte managed multi-country programs at IFC to provide financing and capacity building to small business entrepreneurs. Charlotte spent the earlier part of her career as an international trade specialist at the Whitaker Group and Abt Associates in Washington, DC. A graduate of Wellesley College and the Paris Fashion Institute, she holds a Master’s degree in Economic Development and Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
